This site is run by Manish Kulkarni. This policy explains what information the site collects and how it is used.
The site uses Google Analytics to collect standard usage data, such as the pages visited, approximate location, and device and browser type. I use it to understand how the site is used and which pages need improving. If you use the contact form or email me, I receive the name and email address you provide, and I use them only to reply to your message.
If you sign up for the newsletter on the news page, your email address is sent to Buttondown, the service that delivers the emails. I use it only to send the newsletter, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email me to be removed.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google Analytics and Google AdSense use cookies or similar technologies. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
This site includes lessons written for children and teenagers. Those pages do not show ads and do not ask for personal information. This site is not directed at collecting personal data from children, and parents are welcome to email me with any concern.
This site links to third-party AI tools and services. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites, so review their own privacy policies before giving them any personal information.
I keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond to them. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection laws, such as the GDPR in the UK and EU or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, to access, correct or request deletion of personal data. Email me to make a request.
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
