How levels work

Levels describe the next useful step, not a score

The level check is meant to route you to a sensible starting point. It is not a certification test and there is no penalty for choosing Beginner. Someone who uses ChatGPT every day may still benefit from the foundation lessons if concepts such as training data, hallucinations or context windows are unfamiliar.

Move up when the material feels repetitive, move down when a lesson assumes knowledge you do not have, and use the lesson directory whenever you want to follow a topic instead of a level.
